Reading the site

You can read every guide without giving us personal details. With your consent, we collect analytics data (such as pages viewed and device type) through Google Analytics to understand which guides are useful. See our Cookie Policy.

Asking for quotes

If you use a quote form, we collect what you enter: postcode, job details, timescale, whether you own the property, your name, phone number and email. We also record when you gave consent, a hashed (not raw) IP address and your browser type, as a record of that consent.

We use this to pass your enquiry to a small number of providers for that job so they can contact you with quotes. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box. Providers may pay us for the introduction. Once shared, each provider handles your details under its own privacy policy.

We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, keep a record of consent and meet legal obligations, then delete them. Data is stored with our database provider in the UK/EU region.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@kaeltripton.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect sharing that has already happened. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Advertising and links

Some pages show advertising or link to partner websites. When you leave Bricktrust, the other site's privacy policy applies.
